- Build and lead application engineering team to secure NXP business goal in Automotive Application covering gateway, domain controller, Next Automotive generation Electrical/Electronic Architecture.
- As integral part of global Automotive application engineering team, actively participating and executing strategies for NXP automotive industry.
- Work with marketing, business developing, sales and field application team to identify customer requirements and work with other sites together on Application solution roadmap.
- As part of the NXP global application team, work effectively across departments to support customer to overcome technical barriers and save development time/cost.
Requirements:
- Master or Doctor degree with over 10-year relevant work including over 5-year management experience in R&D
- Great strength of will and ability of leadership and motivating a high educated technical team.
- With structural mindset, willing take responsibility to make decision under insufficient information or in complex scenarios.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to comfortably work with multiple internal teams across global as well as customers.
- Strong knowledge on software development process. Knowledge of CMMI is preferred.
- Strong skills on project management
- Fluent oral and written English

The candidate who meets some below criteria are strongly preferred:
- Good knowledge of Linux or other rich OS internals: OS concept, Kernel, BSP
- Good knowledge and experience of automotive electronics technologies / skills such as ECU design, In-Vehicle networking, Functional Safety, AUTOSAR
- Knowledge of simulation / emulation tools (e.g., HIL, Simulink)
- Excellent skills in presenting complex technical subjects.
- Passion for getting things done as well as pushing organization to right direction.

- The Automotive Processing (AP) Application team in China is a critical part of the AP Business Line within the automotive business unit. It is responsible for providing excellent application support to automotive customer as well as internal teams. Application engineers within this team will develop complete customized reference solution for customers including both hardware and software, and help to secure design win by solution and customer support.
