As a Service Engineer based in Melbourne, you will primarily be responsible for:
- Providing calibration, repair and technical support for Anritsu RF & Optical products.
- Inspection, test and preparation of Anritsu demonstration equipment for customer use.
- Maintaining the Service Laboratory - including ensuring that lab equipment is in good working order and within the correct and current calibrations.
- Preparation of service quotes.
- Produce Anritsu quality documentation after carrying out any service work. (i.e. detailed call report, results sheets, equipment lists, calibration certificates, etc.)
- Ensuring all Anritsu Quality requirements are met as per the Anritsu Quality Manual and procedures.
About you:
To be successful in this role you should possess the following skills and attributes:
- An Electronics or Instrument trade qualification. RF knowledge will be well regarded.
- Good problem-solving skills including ability to adopt lateral thinking approach to fault finding and problem resolution.
- Previous experience in the repair and calibration of telecommunication test and measurement equipment would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills especially when dealing with customers.
- Fluent English both written and spoken.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- An independent, well organized, self-motivated, and focused personality, able to work alone and unsupervised and with minimum direction
- Ability to absorb information quickly & accurately.
- Good attention to detail.
