About The Role

The Project Coordinator ensures all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet high quality standards. The Project Coordinator will work with a diverse team to create a realistic timeline, follow up with team members to ensure smooth project delivery, and track project progress in a variety of ways. Depending on project size and complexity you will complete some or all of the following tasks:

  • Oversee engineering, technical studies and equipment specification - coordinating internal and third party resources
  • Coordinate tender package development and bid evaluation
  • Coordinate with the project management and construction management teams to formulate and execute the most cost-effective plans
  • Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including engineering drawings, in accordance with the information management plan
  • Oversee quality control of the work and implementation of the quality management plan
  • Monitor project progress and address potential issues before they arise
  • Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding the contract, change requests, design revisions, RFIs, RFQ, etc.
  • Prepare for and participate in meetings with the project team, client representatives and subcontractors
  • Define clear roles, responsibilities, and deliverable requirements in terms of both scope and schedule to all team members
  • Fly-in, fly-out role with accommodations and travel provided

About You

  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) - registered with PEGNL or eligible immediately upon hire
  • Bachelors of Engineering in relevant discpline
  • Mining experience preferred
  • 5+ years progressive experience in relevant roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an above-average level of computer literacy
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to accuracy, detail, and deadline
  • Unwavering commitment to health, safety, and environmental protection
  • Fluent in English with fluency in French being a definite asset

Please note that you will be required to work in an industrial environment. This may include working at heights, dirty/dusty and noisy environments, and confined spaces. All personal protective equipment and site-specific training will be provided.

Salary: $88,000.20-$131,090.07 per year
