Job description
In our customization center located in Beveren (Antwerp), we are receiving complete and partly finished construction equipment and forklifts.
The customization center is responsible for completion of those machines (assembly of front attachments), for installation of regional options and for pre-delivery inspection.
- You will manage all activities in our plant, including assembling, purchasing materials and quality control in order to assemble our machines in the most cost-effective way, while meeting shipping requirements and sales commitments.
- You will manage the entire team in Beveren, consisting of 10 to 15 people and some contractors.
- You develop monthly and annual production plans and are responsible for the resource planning.
- You optimize our assembly processes, systems, and procedures with a continuous improvement mindset.
- You plan and coordinate testing and inspection of our machines and processes and suggest and implement improvements.
- You are responsible for logistics, production and parts planning and ordering and stock management of machines.
- You give advice in solving technical problems on machines and solve practical issues related to production.
Profile
- You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role in a production environment.
- You have an Engineering degree and can read technical drawings (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic)
- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
- You are an experienced, enthusiastic people manager with a proactive and positive attitude, you have great communication skills and a practical mind.
- You have experience with optimizing efficiency, quality and cost effectiveness.
- You can create clear and transparent reports based on data analysis.You have a safety first mindset and an organized and structured attitude.
- You live close to our production site in Beveren (Antwerp).
