Progressive Automations is a leading manufacturer and distributor of linear actuators and linear motion control products worldwide. We are currently seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Network, IT, and Netsuite Infrastructure Administrator (aka IT Administrator) to join our team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals across various locations, providing support for employees in multiple time zones. The typical work schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Central Standard Time. The successful candidate will be required to report to the office located in Mexico City, Polanco once the office is established.
Please note that fluency in English is a requirement for this role, and all applicants are expected to submit their resume in English. Additionally, the position is based in Mexico City, and all candidates must currently reside in the area or be willing to relocate to Mexico City.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all cloud-based network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, and VPNs.
- Manage all company software licenses and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
- Maintain an inventory of all IT hardware, including laptops, peripherals, printers, and headsets.
- Oversee the rollout and support of desktop devices, including laptops and printers, and productivity tools such as Outlook and Microsoft Office.
- Troubleshoot all employee software and hardware issues, contacting manufacturers when necessary.
- Continuously review infrastructure to determine where cost savings, upgrades, and new implementations are required.
- Support the Netsuite Developer in maintaining the ERP system infrastructure and actioning business-driven stakeholder requests to improve utility.
- Take the lead on new implementations, such as VOIP system upgrades and Windows Intune implementation.
- Work with management to establish standards and best practices for managing internal infrastructure, including network, access rights, desktops, servers, internal applications, and DR scenarios.
- Provide occasional out-of-hours support as needed.
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years previous experience in a similar role.
- Diploma or Degree in networking, hardware, or software configuration setup.
- Extensive knowledge of Windows Office365 Premium and experience with its administration.
- Working knowledge of Netsuite platform and experience building custom searches and reports.
- Previous experience maintaining and upgrading VOIP infrastructure.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with a passion for IT and integrations.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours.
- Ability to work both remotely and from office in Mexico City, once office in Polanco is established.
