The job holder is accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behavior with regard to H3SE rules & requirements and for implementing H3SE rules within his area of responsibility.
The job holder is responsible for the following activities:
The job holder is responsible for the following activities:
- To assist CPP INS/TEL superintendent in supervising Instrument / Telecom activities by Contractor and /or Subcontractors in their respective premises
- To ensure Contractor's Construction / Precommissioning procedures, Method of statements are approved and implemented at work site(s) as per NOC Technical Referential and applicable local and international codes
- To anticipate and advise corrective measure with respect to Potential issues that may occur during the Project phase.
- To ensure Contractor's resources, tools and equipment are adequate to achieve expected level of Construction / Precommissioning requirements.
- To ensure Precommissioning has been performed correctly and formally recorded into ICAPS system.
- Monitor & Report associated key dates with respect to construction schedule meets project milestones
ACTIVITIES
- To promote & comply with applicable safety instructions and other NOC HSE procedures in all activities,
- To carry out work in compliance with NOC values and policies, relevant laws, and regulations, agreed NOC priorities and objectives, NOC standards and procedures and good industry practices,
- Review and monitor the availability of drawings, job instructions, material deliveries and tools
- Review all Method Statements from CTR within his field of competence.
- To ensure the technical rooms fabrication and equipment installation as per Approved for Construction (AFC) project drawings, specifications, Procedures and Site Instructions.
- Supervise the installation of all bulk and supports associated with its discipline.
- Supervise the workmanship in particular for tubing runs and cables installation and glanding.
- Monitor that employees adhere strictly to the latest Approved for Construction (AFC) project drawings, specifications, Procedures and Site Instructions.
- Report to CPP INS/TEL superintendent for monitoring construction progress.
- Responsible for monitoring contractor's labor resources in accordance with approved mobilization plan and report to CPP INS/TEL superintendent.
- Ensure the correct implementation of the Permit to Work system
- Ensure Contractors personnel have sufficient training and experience to carry out safe operations
- Identification of any Non-Conformance linked to Fabrication (NCRs).
- Review manufacturing records books
- Monitor and/or Approve all pre-commissioning activities performed by Contractor / Subcontractors
- To verify the completeness and correctness of the as built drawings and manage the final project documentation and ensure the complete handover to NOC Commissioning team.
- Supervise the telecom activities.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Qualification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering,
- Valid CompEx Training Certificate covering Module EX-01/02/03/04.
- Professional Experience in the offshore oil & gas project (number of years): 10
- Experience within project: (number of years): 5.
- Experience and knowledge in hazardous area classification and ATEX standards
- Familiar with Total Energies General Specifications, EDMS (PRODOM/MANASA).
- Construction, Precommissioning, and Quality Inspection experience is required for Topside projects.
- A good knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Standards and International codes/standards related to Instrument / Telecom and associated component's
- Good communication skills and ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
- Good reporting skills,
- Be skilled in using computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets, and e-mail communications.
- Language: English mandatory.
