Software Sales Executive Duties & Responsibilities
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules
Present/communicate company solutions, products, and services to potential clients
Utilizing your considerable company product knowledge and your knowledge of competitor products you will create value propositions that differentiate from competitors to address specific vertical industry challenges and cross-segment capabilities
Trusted advisor - Establishes strong relationships based on knowledge of account requirements and commitment to value (value of counsel and expertise, the value of solutions, the value of implementation expertise)
Learn the full line of Tax & Accounting software products including features, benefits, pricing, intended use, value proposition, and competitive position in order to effectively serve clients by attending and engaging fully in standard one-week product training sessions for new hires
Improve TAA market share within the segment by identifying departments/business lines in target accounts using competitive products and engaging the client account at the management and executive level to identify business issues
This may include the development of a marketing and sales strategy for presentation to clients describing products and services available
Sells our portfolio of products and services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects
Present products and services to new accounts
Close sales in a consultative, longer sales cycle, higher price point environment
