A HVAC Supervisor is responsible for finding faults on HVAC systems. They will then carry out repairs and maintenance on these systems. Their typical duties and responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting Chillers, vapor absorption system, ventilations and air conditioning service equipment
- Operation & Maintenance of HVAC systems and monitoring them
- Travelling to different locations to service and test HVAC units and systems
- Finding faults and carrying our repairs and maintenance
- Advising customers on the best care for their HVAC system
- Ordering the parts for repair
- Surveying sites ahead of fitting heating, ventilation or air conditioning systems
- Operation and Maintenance of pipework, ducts and control panels
- Performing quality checks to ensure systems are working efficiently and safely
- Carrying out maintenance on HVAC systems
- Finding and fixing faults
- Helping customers to reduce their energy use
