Lab Technician
Under the general supervision of a Senior Technician and Coordinator, the Laboratory Technician processes Quality Testing samples in a laboratory setting.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Carrying out all laboratory activities and service assignments together with corresponding administrative work based on short to medium term planning
- The employee is responsible for compliance with regulation regarding quality- and phytosanitary policies
- Carrying out various tasks to maintain the quality of equipment and quality certification
- Proactive approach towards process improvement
- Supporting and/or supervising co-laboratory workers during execution of activities
- Secure a safe, compliant, and positive work environment which is compliant with all HSE, Business Conduct and HR.

- Education: HBO (Higher Profession Education and Training) and/or MBO Level 4 (Senior Secondary Vocational Education) with proven experience
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience preferably in a lab- and/or product supply environment
- Domain knowledge: Quality laboratory organization and processes, customer centric mindset, demonstrates care and concern for stakeholders and team, proactive in continuous improvement, agile to work in cross-functional environment, results oriented and cost conscious
- QMS and HSE: Apply standard operation procedure, ISO/ISTA and HSE rules to all samples. Ensure timely reporting of the results and their availability in SAP
- Soft skills: Strong relationship and networking skills. Good communication in English (written and verbal).
- Technical skills: Seed Health knowledge and mastery in sample management tools. Experience with Microsoft Office applications required and experience with SAP desired.
