Job Description
Due to Fulton Hogan’s ongoing growth within the Northland Region, we are looking for a Sealing Supervisor to join our team and deliver the good work Fulton Hogan is known for.
The job
You’ll be responsible for wide range of responsibilities including;
- Working with the Departing Manager & Sealing Engineer to deliver assigned sealing work.
- Planning, scheduling and managing coordinating crew activities to minimise the impact of works on traffic, the community and the environment.
- Setting and delivering appropriate targets for the sealing crews.
- Monitoring and correcting productivity, resourcing efficiencies and cost control.
- Assisting with the management of suppliers and subcontractors in the delivery of work.
You’ll use your good people skills to build genuine and lasting relationships with our customers, and our people (we’re one big whaanau). And you’ll have the skills and experience to help us achieve our strategic objectives.
The successful candidate will be required to work approximately 50 hours per week.

Experience and attributes;
- Experience in chip sealing essential
- NZ Certificate Bituminous Surfacing Construction Level 4 (Chipseal) preferred
- Full Class 2 licence and WTR endorsement minimum (Additional classes a bonus)
- Familiarity with the Northland Region advantageous
- Possess strong leadership and organisational skills
- An unwavering commitment towards living safely with a safety record to match
- Have a strong customer and quality focus
- Be hardworking, self-motivated & driven to succeed
- RAMM Contractor and Pocket RAMM experience would be an advantage
