Basic Requirements:
- Formal Tertiary education: Grade 12
- Technical Qualification – Mechanical Artisan
- Languages:English – Read, write and speak (required)
Afrikaans – Read, write and speak (optional)
- Drivers Licence:Code 8- (required)
Code 10-(advantageous)
Experience:
- 1-3 years’ experience in quality
- Experience in automation industry preferable
- Tool making Experience Advantageous
Job Objectives:
- Quality Checking of manufactured parts in different categories as per below:
- Quantity
- Description
- Quality
- Booking in and out of tools/consumables in machine shop, including Stock management and procurement
- Logistic management of manufacture parts to sub-suppliers, i.e., hardening, finishing, etc.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Quality checking of parts:
- Quantity
- Description
- Quality
- Reporting reworks as soon as it is identified
- Booking in and out of tools/consumables:
- Checking quality/life of tools
- General store duties
- Housekeeping.
- Issuing of all required tools and consumables to relevant persons.
- Stock Control – Doing daily checks on consumable and fast-moving items ensuring that stock never runs out.
- Liaising with technical assistant regarding new orders etc.
- General Housekeeping.
- Driving from time to time.
- Stock taking
- Logistic Management:
- Managing logistics of parts to be send to suppliers for hardening, finishing, etc.
