As a Developmental Disabilities Program Representative with the Department of Human Services, you will plan, coordinate, implement, monitor, and evaluate annually the goals and objectives of the Council’s State Plan. You will work with the Developmental Disabilities Council, the Council’s Executive Committee, Council committees, State agency personnel, executive directors of statewide and local agencies whose work relates to developmental disabilities, the personnel of funded projects, and the general public. This position also performs the necessary research to keep current on issues, policies, and trends related to the field of disabilities, both in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and throughout the nation.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. You will be required to attend staff and Council meetings as scheduled. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. The telework worksite must be located within a reasonable travel distance of Harrisburg and within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience in the development or implementation of programs serving the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities; or
- Three years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating a human services program that includes one year of experience in the development or implementation of programs serving the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities, and a bachelor’s degree.
