Tasks/responsibilities:
- Setting up, handling and administrative processing of export ocean freight FCL shipments
- Includes ocean forwarding, local road / barge transport, cross-docking & warehousing services.
- Monitor shipments and provide customers with proactive updates.
- Preparation of all required shipping documents and Customs formalities.
- Preparation of ocean freight quotes.
- Communicate and collaborate across the local, regional, and global organization.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and service providers.
- Invoicing of shipments and the associated cost control.
- Identify and escalate issues to ensure timely resolution.
Job requirements:
- Minimum completed MBO education with a logistics background.
- Minimum 4 years of work experience in the same or similar position(s).
- Strong command of the Dutch and English languages.
- Previous experience with WMS / Logistics planning / ERP systems – CargoWise and/or Softpak knowledge & experience advantageous.
