With solid written and verbal communication skills, the Project Officer will build and sustain productive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
This role sits within the Contracting and Provider Management Unit (CPMU) of the Training Market Services (TMS) division, and reports to the Manager, CPMU. The Project Officer supports the work of the division through providing high level administrative and project support. The high-level standard in applying administrative and project support skills of the Project Officer supports ongoing improvements of the division's business processes and practices.
The Project Officer will analyse data and information using standard tools, including Access and Excel to develop an understanding of the behaviour and performance of contracted training providers, including their compliance with the VET Funding Contract.
The Project Officer will undertake complex or technical investigations of data or information that informs their preparation of reports, briefings, correspondence and other materials related to the assessment of performance, compliance or leading to operational improvements in the managed market.

To be successful in this role you use well-developed verbal and written communication skills to communicate clear and succinct information in a manner that meets the information needs of diverse groups. A keen eye for detail, experience in brief and letter writing to both internal and external stakeholders, and abilities in data analysis will be well regarded.
