Payroll Assistant - Temporary Contract [Denmark]


 

We are looking for a Payroll Assistant to play a key role in ensuring as well as improving our current Payroll processes. Quality-conscious and detail-oriented
To join our Global Office in Copenhagen and support our HR Operations and Payroll team, we are looking for a quality-conscious and detail-oriented Payroll Assistant. Working with payroll outsourcing partners, the Payroll Assistant is responsible for delivering compliant, timely and accurate Payroll to Pandora employees, ensuring that related processes are administered in accordance with Pandora’s internal policy and local statutory regulations. Additional key responsibilities include:
  • Manage all day-to-day payroll operations for selected legal entities in the Global Office region – specifically Denmark.
  • Compiles data from a wide variety of sources (e.g., time sheets/payroll, salary adjustments, tax deposits, etc.) for payroll processing.
  • Timely and accurate submission/payment of statutory obligations, such as tax and social security.
  • Manage day-to-day liaison with Payroll outsourcing partners, including monthly review of services and performance metrics.
  • Provide reconciliation of payroll related expenses based on monthly accounting schedule.
  • Maintain supporting payroll documentations and authorizations for internal and external audits.
  • Verify exceptions on attendance, hours worked, pay adjustments and post information onto time system for retail employees for each pay period.
  • Provide support for employees and managers on payroll matters, tax issues and time related matters.
  • Manage a positive working relationship with internal HR community and payroll outsourcing partners.
  • Responsible for meeting the pre-determined payroll metrics and compliance requirements.


Team player with the ability to understand and develop payroll processes
Besides your interest in figures and numbers, the ability to understand payroll processes and systems is key to succeed in this role. Adding to that, we also envision that you have a strong attention to detail and a strong self-drive with a motivation to be part of the team. We also expect you to have:
  • 2-3+ years of solid experience working within Payroll, Finance or HR.
  • Strong financial skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large sets of data and present results in a simple manner.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office & HR Systems - Experience with Workday, Successfactors/SAP is an advantage
  • Fluent in Danish & English.
  • Relevant academic background like Finance or HR, etc.
  • Experience from global organization is an advantage.


In this position, you will be part the HR Operations team and report to the Director of Global Payroll.

Temporary contract, approx. 1 year.
