Exploris Aquarium are recruiting a Junior Aquarist/Keeper who will take part in a full training programme in the following duties.
Aquarist Role
- Sealife care in both native and tropical species
- Other animal care to include Seal rehabilitation, Penguin care, Asian Otters, Capybara, reptiles to include crocs, iguanas, snakes etc
- Enclosure maintenance
- Animal Welfare
- Engaging with the public.
Presenter Role
- Engage with visitors giving talks and demonstrations
- Carry out Night at The Aquarium guided tours
- Present at the Exploris Pop-up-Aquarium at schools, events etc.
No experience necessary, but helpful.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
