10 Chambers is a fully funded scale-up game studio backed by Tencent and based in the beautiful city of Stockholm, Sweden. We are an ambitious, creative, and collaborative team with a lifelong love for games.
We are continuing the development of our first game GTFO but have now also entered pre-production of our next project, a cooperative heist FPS set in a techno-thriller world. Originated and directed by Ulf Andersson, the creator of Payday.
We are now looking for a creative and experienced Gameplay programmer - with a focus on Animation and NPCs, to help us realize the design of our coming and upcoming projects.
As a Gameplay programmer with a focus on Animation and NPCs at 10 Chambers, you will work close to game design and animation on bringing characters and creatures alive, work will include Animation, AI, Interaction, Combat, and Network syncing.
At 10 Chambers, we are working in Unity and C#, which we find gives us a great balance between creative power, development speed, and quality. We can offer you a stimulating and challenging environment and constant opportunities to both apply and refine your skills.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of gameplay programming experience
- High level of experience in systems like Animation, NPCs, Player input, AI, and Combat.
- A great understanding of how to iterate to reach the design goals
- Experienced in profiling and optimization across multiple platforms
- Strong collaboration skills
- Excellent command of English (Swedish is not a requirement)
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with C# and Unity
- Experience with ECS Architecture
- Experience with console titles
