We are JATO Dynamics, the market-leading automotive data provider, and we are currently expanding our home-based Research team in Malaysia.

If you are a detail-oriented person, who enjoys desktop automotive research, this may be the role for you!

As a Data Specialist, you will collect, audit, and input detailed vehicle specifications data in a given automotive market using our proprietary software to improve the quality and enhance the specifications data quality for the China market.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor the changes in China automotive market, in particular pricing, specifications, option changes for cars and light commercial vehicles

Input collected information into JATO's database using our proprietary software and following company procedures and guidelines

Elicit additional relevant information and ensure a steady flow of the highest quality data by using effective networking and influencing skills

Actively find new & better ways of collecting information to enhance the official data

Monitor the quality of the China data in respecting company SLA committed to customers in terms of accuracy, timeliness and completeness

Must have the utmost professionalism when establishing and maintaining contacts in the car industry

Key Requirements

Knowledge of the China automotive area, gained through experience or significant training in product or market research at automotive makes, importers or leasing companies

Minimum bachelor’s degree

Fresh graduates who also have a passion for cars are welcome

Must have good communication skills, verbal and written in Mandarin and English

Must have the ability to meet tight deadlines

High attention to detail

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must have cultural awareness

Solid ability of logic and data analysis

Knowledge of MS Office applications (E.g., Excel)
