POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in product assembly, packaging, and quality control in the consumer product industry. The Assembler will be responsible for assembling products and packaging them for distribution according to customer requirements.

OBJECTIVES
- Follow work orders and instructions to assemble products according to customer requirements
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality control standards
- Package finished products for distribution using appropriate materials and methods
- Operate various assembly and packaging machinery and tools
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and deadlines
- Communicate with supervisors and quality control personnel to report any issues or concerns
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
COMPETENCIES
- Familiarity with assembly and packaging using machinery and various tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills in a fast paced environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as necessary to complete logs or records
- Basic ability in mathematics, reading, and writing
- Industry knowledge of safety procedures and ability to follow them
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in product assembly and packaging in the consumer product industry preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, speaking, walking, driving, and/or sitting
- Position may require travel: Up to 50%
