COST ACCOUNTANT
As a cost and inventory controller, your job duties include verifying costs with vendors and suppliers, estimating expenditures, recommending cost-saving measures to upper management and managing a company’s inventory ensuring that inventory levels are accurate and that inventory is kept in a cost-effective manner.
Job Description:
· Manages inventory levels, ensuring accurate inventory records are maintained, and that inventory levels are replenished in a timely manner
· Conducts regular spot-checks of inventory levels and reports findings to the general manager
· Implementing accounting software and automating cost control systems
Assess all incoming products, resources, and services to ensure the best price
Keep up to date on new vendors and possible cost-cutting partnerships
Analyze invoices to ensure correct products/services were received at the expected cost
Develop and implement proactive solutions and cost-cutting measures.
Requirements:
Preferably Arabs.
Well versed with ERP ( Oracle/ SAP/ Dynamics )
Minimum 5 years’ experience working in cost accounting and inventory control in Trading companies
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal ( Fluent In English)
