Technical Product Manager [Turkey]


 

We are on a mission to help life sciences and healthcare companies focus on what matters to them while we focus on simplifying and removing the friction in shipping.


We are building a world-class team at Mercury Teknoloji A.Ş. in Turkey (with offices in Izmir and Istanbul), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mercury Business Services headquartered in Boston, to develop a state-of-the-art shipping platform that provides the best user experience. Our platform will handle all time-critical and temperature-sensitive shipments as well as express package and freight shipments for life sciences and healthcare companies.


We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to work in our Technical Product Management Team on our key product initiatives from conception through launch and ensuing iterations. Working with customers across the US, Europe, and Asia, and our team, you will develop the product requirements and acceptance criteria that provide a detailed understanding of how features are expected to work, why they are worth building, and how they will be measured.


You will report to the Senior Technical Product Manager and work closely with business and engineering teams. You will be the voice of our customers, collaborating closely with our engineers, designers, salespeople, product marketers to ensure that our products solve the right problems and convert our customers into raving fans of our shipping technology.


You Will:

  • Determine user requirements leveraging both user research and product insight that includes our client and support platforms
  • Drive the delivery of the product roadmap together with engineering and design teams
  • Work closely with the Product Management Team in Boston to clarify business requirements
  • Collaborate with product designers, engineers, QA team and user groups to ensure optimal user experience against intended business outcomes
  • Create features and user stories to align with roadmap and ensure clear articulation and alignment with engineering teams
  • Write detailed documentation for the engineering & product teams which is essential for our projects
  • Drive system-level design with the technical leads
  • Ensure tight communication with chief architect and software leads to formulate technical solution to the business problems
  • Drive cross-functional execution; outcome obsession and ability to influence fellow engineers to execute rapidly
  • Run grooming sessions with the development team to clarify any open points
  • Help prioritize product features and tasks with cross-functional teams
  • Travel up to 10%

You Are (or You Have):

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience as Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst
  • Expertise in writing technical requirements for engineers and defining acceptance criteria
  • Expertise in defining both backend and frontend functionality
  • Expertise in building user workflows and state machines (i.e., CRM systems)
  • Expertise in platform (marketplace) development in greenfield projects
  • Experience working with Agile Scrum methodology
  • Expertise in working with cross-functional teams
  • Expertise in building dashboards
  • Very good command of English
  • Excellent storytelling and presentation skills
  • Experience in designing and testing APIs using Postman, or any similar API platforms
  • Experience in launching and successfully delivering SaaS products
  • Experience in UI/UX design

  • Experience working in the shipping or logistics industry
  • Experience working in multinational projects
  • Experience in Jira/Confluence
  • Experience with Figma, Zeplin and Miro tools
  • Experience as a software developer in your background
  • PSPO or another related product owner/product manager certificate
