Essentials is re-defining industrial real estate by designing the first warehousing-as-a-service customer experience. We are adding tremendous value for our customers beyond our real estate portfolio and positioning Prologis as a needed expert in turnkey industrial warehouse infrastructure solutions. The Prologis Essentials Team is growing rapidly and already making a global impact on the industrial real estate industry.
Prologis is seeking a passionate International Key Account Manager, with Enterprise experience, who will be primarily responsible for driving sales growth of Essentials solutions within assigned accounts. As the primary contact for the operational decision makers within these accounts, you will be advising senior leadership in these customers, to guide discussions around- identifying their pain points and aligning our solutions accordingly. The ideal candidate will be a focused, dynamic, and flexible self-starter, that is comfortable with change, a critical thinker, focused, and has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What’s needed in order to do that:
  • Educate our customers on the full range of Prologis Essentials products and services (racking, forklifts, LED, rack buyback and more) and promote the benefits resulting from their use.
  • Become a Product specialist and explain what the USP’s are for working with Prologis Essentials.
  • Develop an intimate understanding of our customers businesses and identify how Essentials products and services will satisfy their needs.
  • Identify and develop new product opportunities based on customer needs and feedback.
  • Communicate and introduce new Essentials product offerings to the Prologis teams in the CE region.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with internal Prologis teams and service as the primary point of contact for our preferred vendor partners from initial discovery through service delivery.
  • Conduct market research on an on-going basis and develop sales strategy in partnership with local real estate teams to scale the business.
  • Participate in the establishment of annual revenue targets and implement strategic plans to reach those revenue targets.

  • 10+ years of B2B sales, business development, or national account management experience in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Emotional Intelligence, ability to listen and tact – the art of managing customer interest and business growth. Listens, questions, and then commits to execution of team goals.
  • Skilled at working in a cross-functional, matrixed, entrepreneurial, and changing/evolving environment at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven consultative sales experience managing the sales cycle from end to end.
  • Knowledge of material handling, lighting, automation/robotics, industrial warehouse solutions experience a plus.
  • Able to work independently, but also cross-functionally to learn, teach, and cultivate internal relationships and share knowledge.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM critical to tracking customer communication and opportunities.
  • A general understanding of Industrial Real Estate and commercial brokerage a plus.
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing personality, strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative nature – desire to help others succeed.
  • Ability to travel 40% - 60% of the time.
  • Fluency in English, other languages are a pre.
