We are looking for a collaborative and innovative marketing partner to increase brand awareness and presence in order to drive profitable revenue for Balsam Hill’s UK and European business. If you are passionate about growing a business, building relationships, and championing consumer insights into marketing strategies and decisions, you are a great candidate for this role. You will have opportunities to craft marketing strategies and support the expansion strategy for new and emerging markets. We are looking for someone with a background in international marketing, preferably having prior experience in a B2C eCommerce company.
This full-time position reports to the Direct of Marketing, Balsam Hill International, and is located in Dublin, Ireland. This role is expected to work in a hybrid model, which includes two days in-office.
What you’ll do:
- Partner with the Director of Marketing to shape and define marketing strategy for the UK and European business
- Coordinate the execution of marketing efforts including but not limited to TV, Email, Catalog, Paid digital (PPC, PLA, programmatic), PR and Partnerships, Affiliates, Organic Traffic through SEO and Content, SM (RM)
- Develop integrated, locally relevant marketing strategies that drive business KPIs
- Manage key aspects of marketing budgets
- Represent marketing in executive initiatives such as maximizing profit or shipping communications
- Oversee the day-to-day management of a small team, as well as our agency partners
- Oversee the reporting and analysis of marketing activities
- Leverage and integrate customer insights
- Develop marketing plans with functional leads that flow into the integrated calendar
- Documentation of processes and learnings in shared knowledge database
- Review the competitive landscape in-season to be able to react to changes in the marketplace quickly
- Partner and coordinate with internal stakeholders across functions to develop and execute end-to-end marketing projects to support growth
What you bring to the table:
- 7+ years of marketing experience; familiarity with international marketing requirements is critical
- Prior experience leading and/or directly managing a team, preferably across different geographies
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or marketing research desired; master’s degree preferred; additional years of relevant experience acceptable in lieu of degree
- Familiarity with the Balsam Hill brand and customers and/or a strong desire to learn!
- Alignment with the Balsam Brands culture, specifically working with a spirit of collaboration and accountability, grounded in respect for your colleagues, partners, and customers
- Solid understanding of both creative and brand, as well as a strong background in acquisition/growth channels such as TV and high-profile partnerships
- Extremely flexible/adaptable attitude; with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Proven ability to hire, lead, and mentor team members working across the globe
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, creative problem solving, ambition, and evidence of strong work ethic
- Analytical knowledge across numerous marketing channels
- Strong project management, budgeting, and forecasting skillset
- Strong presentation skills; highly literate in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
