Who is the Email Marketing & Media Planner in H&M?
An ambitious and highly organized team member who owns the strategic planning of H&M’s customer communications plans.
You are analytical and sales driven, with a passion for owned communications and paid media.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales & Marketing, Content, PR, E-commerce and Customer Insights teams to deliver exceptional media plans by contributing to overall business goals.
This is a critical role in the business that will require high level email, push and CRM knowledge, as well as a good understanding of the synergy of paid and owned media in the marketing ecosystem.
Key responsibilities:
Owned media channels
- Own the strategic planning of the weekly customer communications plan for owned channels (email & push) by collaborating with internal stakeholders; such as site planners, content editors & the loyalty lead.
- Provide the team with an overall understanding of upcoming communications and campaigns, taking the right actions to drive sales.
- Build local plans based off global initiatives and market relevant messaging for email and push notifications (app), using insights about different customer target groups, commercial patterns and growth targets.
- Liaise with global teams on global communications.
- Drive segmentation and content mix for owned channels, including timing & frequency.
- Work closely with creative agencies to deliver exceptional email & push plans.
Paid media channels
- Support the Media Planner Lead with key paid media campaigns,and help manage the local media agency in day-to-day communications.
- Support the implementation of global marketing campaigns (eg. Seasonal launches).
- Liaise with, and brief local content teams and creative agencies for all paid media assets
- Consolidate and follow up on monthly paid media budgets
- Provide adhoc admin support to wider media team
Performance & reporting responsibilities
- Analyse and report on owned channel KPIs & performance on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Own weekly follow up documents and be confident in presenting results to the wider sales & marketing team.
- Own the coordination of the paid media post campaign reporting with the media agency.
About YOU
- Marketing communication or business degree/relevant qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience working in email/push/CRM space
- Paid media experience is a bonus, but not necessary
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Have a strong commercial and sales-oriented mindset
- Highly organised and structured
- Have the ability to turn complex information into clear plans
- Previous copyrighting experience preferred
- Have a genuine interest in fashion and a creative eye
- You should have some knowledge of the Australian fashion market
- Leadership qualities with strong and clear communication skills
- A true ambassador of H&M values
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
